Welcome from Paul & Sonja

As many of you know, we aren't the best at sending pictures or keeping our loved ones updated on our daily lives. In the past, this has usually worked out, because we do love to visit with family and friends and to share our stories in person, and sometimes we even remember to bring along a snapshot of our fun (though it may be only viewable as a thumbnail on a laptop!).

To our families, we sincerely appreciate you letting us get away with leaving wedding and honeymoon albums unconstructed and global voyages undocumented, and we realize that our preference for enjoying our own camera-free moments sometimes comes at the cost of you not getting to join in our adventures.

Since moving to Moscow and learning that we have a baby on the way, we've come to realize (with a little gentle help) that this is a good time for us to work on this. We'll surely never be the types who are more concerned with documenting our life than living or enjoying it, but with this blog we will do our best to keep you reasonably up-to-date with photos and such of our life in Russia and our travels beyond.

We love hearing from you no matter what method is used.
Happy to see that Pedro appears to have adapted very well to his new surroundings.
We are all very excited about the baby and look forward to hearing all of your news.
Love you much,
Dad & Jennifer
