Earlier this week, we finally got our first snow. Moscow looked beautiful under a fresh blanket of white, like it was positively built for winter, and we were so excited. Then, about an hour later, it all melted. Such has been the pattern for the past few days. A snowstorm last night. 50 degrees (F) and muddy by this morning. Here is a sort of sad picture we grabbed from the Moscow Times that seems to capture the scene well - an excited but surely slightly disappointed little Muscovite with her 1/2 snowman, 1/2 dirtman.

Dang. Snow Crazy!!! It looks kindof like that movie with Cuba Gooding Jr. and the dogs.
BTW: After we spoke, the Verizon guy came and we're up and running.
