My mom is currently in Hong Kong, where her student, Shirley, just became the Junior National Figure Skating Champion!!! I wanted to post a picture of Shirley skating, but I don't have one, so this awesome photo will have to do for now. Here she is (middle), goofing off with two of my mom's other prodigies, Kasey (L) and Ellen (R). I guess they're trying for a roller-derbyish look here, but they've got 'figure skater' written all over them, right?
