Camp

The first of my mom's summer ice skating camp participants have arrived. The camp will run through the month of July, which partly explains why Paul, Arturo, Pedro and I will be traveling during that time. The skating portion of the camp takes place at the Ice Castle International Training Center (where you can often find Michelle Kwan, Sasha Cohen, Jeffrey Buttle and other well-known skaters), and the kids live and take part in off-ice training at the Castañeda cabin. They also spend a good amount of time hiking, swimming, playing with the neighborhood kids and generally goofing around. Oh, and texting. They're all in serious training for the Text Messaging Olympics.
