The Hollywood Castañedas

As many of you know, Arny (my 'little' brother) and his family moved to Los Angeles from San Diego a couple of years ago. Soon after, Renee got Cameron (my now 5 year old nephew) involved in local theater, as a way to occupy him and give him a place to focus his energy, since soccer, baseball, swimming and his many other activities still left him with endless reserves. Little did she know, he would become instantly obsessed with the stage!

Recognizing Cameron’s seemingly inexhaustible enthusiasm for acting, our other brother, Nick, managed to get Cam a meeting with a well-reputed Hollywood agent. In short, the meeting went well, and just a couple of weeks later Cam finds himself with an agent and a manager (who also represents Hilary Duff, among other notable child actors!), and he has already been called for a number of auditions. Congratulations, Cam!

Not to be outdone by her older brother, Alivia (my niece and Cam’s 2 year old sister) also recently took to the stage in her first ballet recital!
