10 Months

Let’s see, what’s new for 10 months? Well, at 9 months Arturo was occasionally standing without holding on to anything, but I don’t think he was quite ready for this given the many (many) falls that resulted. Wisely, he has traded in ‘no hands’ for at least one hand while standing or cruising. Other than that, he’s mostly doing the same things, only more, faster, etc.
Feeding himself more and with increased accuracy.
Sleeping more hours in a row.
Crawling at the speed of light.
Making more sounds.
Getting more teeth (6 in and others on the way).
Taking stairs almost two at a time.
Oh, and he waves now, sort of. Actually, at the moment his wave is a sort of ‘Heil’ type move that’s a little disturbing, so we don’t usually encourage it in public. He also pulls Pedro’s hair, ears, tail, etc. VERY hard. And he gets miffed when he doesn't get to go exactly where he'd like (e.g., when he’s steered away from electrical outlets). We’re working on these last couple of things.

Here are a few pictures of Arturo frolicking on the bed, something he loves to do.

In this one, Paul is giving Arturo a sinkbath. My favorite thing about this picture (other than the fact that Turo has probably outgrown this sink) is that, as you can see, Paul put him in before fully undressing him. So cute.
