Yesterday we went sledding with our friends, Sergei and Katya, and their kids Andrushka(5) and Sasha(8). Arturo seemed content with it all but not overly impressed. Maybe in a year or two he’ll be more into it, but it was still fun to get out on a nice winter day and float down some hills.

Here's a picture Paul took on our walk yesterday. I feel like this perfectly captures the feel of a typical Moscow park in the winter. It's amazing to me how many people are out walking in the parks every day, even when the temperatures dip well below zero. Also impressive to me are all the extravagant fur coats, hats, boots, muffs, mitts, etc. Do most Russians in these parts actually wear that much fur? Indeed.
