The other day, as I was enjoying Arturo's new affinity for obeying our commands (here he is performing clap! wave! and arms up!), it occurred to me that his outfit was composed almost completely of hand-me-downs (the only exception being his awesome leg warmers, a gift from Auntie Renee). Of course, given the volume of clothes he's received from cousins and friends-of-the-family, it's not uncommon for Turo to be almost head-to-toe in recycled garb, but I haven't fully stopped to appreciate it before. I think he has a really fun wardrobe, and the fact that it's almost entirely made up of hand-me-downs and gifts makes it extra special.

Arturo's Look:
Elijah's onesie
Fausto's shorts
Ben's socks
Amalie's shoes
August's Hat
Paul's colleague's baby's sweater
And before we headed out for the day, we added Rodney's snowsuit and Cameron's jacket.
Wow, lucky Arturo - and lucky little cousins of his (due in April and May), who will inherit these great clothes next!

Aren't hand-me-downs so fun?! Since my daughter was 3 months younger than Deb's daughter and my son was 8 younger than Deb's son (and my sister likes to shop!)....my kids were set with hand-me-downs. Arturo is so lucky that he gets to wear pieces of lots of people. :)
